We're excited to announce that The Working Avo has entered into a formal partnership with Ui-Li Print & Services, one of Singapore's established print and production houses. As The Working Avo takes on brand and digital work for SMEs, Ui-Li Print will be our print partner for physical collateral — packaging, signage, large-format, point-of-purchase, and everything in between.
The arrangement is straightforward: The Working Avo focuses on brand, web, and digital execution. Ui-Li Print handles the print side. One clear handoff between two specialised teams.
Who is Ui-Li Print & Services?
If you've spent any time in Singapore's print industry, you've likely come across their work. Ui-Li Print & Services has been operating since 1997 — nearly three decades of designing, printing, finishing, and delivering for some of the country's most recognisable organisations.
Their client list reads like a who's-who of Singapore institutions: Canon Singapore, Changi Airport, Parkway Hospitals, the Singapore National Eye Centre, the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Sodexo, and Yamazaki, among many others. Their work spans posters and flyers, large-format installations, packaging, point-of-purchase displays, and full bindery services including folding, saddle stitching, lamination, and die-cutting — all delivered from their Bedok production facility.
What they bring to this partnership isn't just equipment. It's nearly 30 years of knowing which paper stock holds ink properly under humid storage, which finishes survive an outdoor café in Singapore's weather, and which production choices save clients money without compromising the final piece. That kind of judgment isn't something you can shortcut.
How the two teams fit together
A note from Chester, our co-founder:
"I've been operating Ui-Li Print for years, and The Working Avo is the newer venture I'm building alongside it. The Working Avo's packages include a lot of print work — menus, signage, packaging, in-store collateral — and Ui-Li Print already does that work at a standard I trust. Pairing the two means The Working Avo clients get a brand and digital team that ships fast, backed by a print operation that's been refining its craft since 1997. Two specialised teams, one clear handoff."
This setup gives us the range of a much larger studio without the overhead of one.
What this means for The Working Avo clients
When you work with The Working Avo, you'll have a single point of contact. You brief us once, we scope it, design it, and ship it. What this partnership specifically gives you:
- Print production runs through a dedicated, fully-equipped facility rather than ad-hoc vendor sourcing per project. More predictable turnarounds, more consistent output, fewer surprises on press day.
- Material and finish decisions get a second pair of expert eyes. Ui-Li Print's production team will flag things that aren't always obvious upfront — paper weights that won't fold cleanly, ink coverage that bleeds on uncoated stock, signage substrates that warp in Singapore's heat and humidity.
- Larger and more complex print jobs are in scope from day one. Point-of-purchase displays, large-format banners, multi-outlet signage rollouts, packaging at volume — all handled at Ui-Li Print rather than stretched across a freelance vendor network.
- Pricing stays transparent. Our fixed-price packages already include print costs where applicable. *Packages are priced from a starting point. Final cost depends on print specs (run size, stock, finishes) and is confirmed at scoping.
What's next
The Working Avo is open for new client work, and this partnership means print scope is in-house from the start. As we onboard our first clients, we'll be sharing more on how the two teams work together — including a small set of pre-tested material and finish combinations for the most common SME use cases (menu cards, business cards, signage, packaging), and case studies as projects ship.
If you're building something — a new café, a retail concept, a wellness studio — and you want one team handling brand, digital, and print without the usual juggling of three vendors, let's talk.
